Welcome to Phonological Processes On-line, as you know this website was created in order to complement the Unit I of the Phonetics II course. The main goal of this web site is to offer you all kind of information realated to phonological processes. Here you may find contents and resources, as well as activities, spaces to express your opinions, ideas and suggested links to make your learning process easier. This website was created as a response to the lack of Phonology and Phonetics texts in the Education Area lybrary has in order to link Phonetics II professor and students with all the tools the web based resources offer.

The site is organized into ten pages, seven available directly on the menu and three are carefully distributed in different sections. If you get lost please check our Site Map.

The first page is the Syllabus section, here you may access the Foundation of the whole course and the Syllabus of  Unit I: Phonological Processes of Connected Speech.

The second paged titled Forums contains the Forum concept definition, the importance of using this particular resource and a brief tutorial with the instructions you need to be successfully registered. Also this page contains links and descriptions of the actvities you have to perform using this strategy.

The next page is titled Content. Here you may find a brief selection of contents related with Phonological Processes. The main feature here is the organization of the content into 2 units (Unit I and Unit II) in which you may find each guide embbeded directly to the page and also a link to download it. In addtition you have there the description and a brief tutorial of the activities you are going to perform to show the way you are acquiring your knowledge.

Then, the page titled Evaluation contains a list of all the activities you have to perform while complementing your knowledge on the website. Besides each activity has additional information as well as the percentage and the direct link to access to it. Some of those activities require a valid e-mail account  or the use of text processors (like Microsoft Word, Open Office writer, etc).

The next page is titled Contact, here you may find different ways to contact us if you have any idea, doubt, suggestion or comment. You can do it through e-mail or the use of different social networks. Also we linked here a Bonus page titled Entertainment that contains different resources, such as kareoke songs, educational games and a MP3 player in which you may spend your spare time while learning english.

Finnally, you have the Faq´s (Frequently Asked Questions) section, here you may find, as its title says, common questions and answers, as well as tutorials for each one of the external resources, just in case you have not worked with them before.
